Herd Source
Tissue Source uses only qualified, pre-approved and reputable herd sources. We audit our herd sources no less than once each year to validate all quality requirements.
Pigs:
Qualified porcine herds are located in Northern Indiana. Animals are raised in a closed herd environment. Other herd qualifications include;
- Highly monitored BioSecurity
- Specific Pathogen Free (SPF) accredited and health controlled
- Closed herds with strict environmental controls
- On site feed mills with control of feed ingredients
- Complete traceability, documentation and thorough health records
- Controlled and operated by strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Cattle:
Bovine herds are in the process of being qualified. Bovine tissue is not available at this time.
Other:
Herd sources of other species will be qualified and available upon request.
